Skilled Nursing Care
Provide instruction, treatment and coordination of health care; decubitus care, ostomy care, foley catheter care, post-surgery dressing changes, and home I.V. therapy, among others.
Physical Therapy/Occupation Therapy/Speech Pathology
Provide treatments designed to develop and restore muscle and joint function; self-care abilities; or communication skills.
Medical Social Worker
They evaluate the client’s emotional and mental state and makes suggestions, assists in the processing of forms through Medicare or other insurances, assists in securing Meals-On-Wheels or transportation, assess the caregiver’s continued ability to provide care in finding help in the home (i.e., instituting eligibility for in home support, Medi-Cal and SSI,
Senior Citizen Tax Benefit, etc.)
Certified Home Health Aide
Provides assistance with personal hygiene needs while receiving skilled nursing care and/or therapy.
Durable Medical Equipment
Make arrangements for medically necessary physician prescribed equipment that is available under the patient’s insurance plan.
Registered Dietician
They assist patients and their caregivers in understanding, accepting, and following special diets as prescribed by his/her physician.
Pharmacy
Gifted Arms Home Healthcare Services staff is able to coordinate the pharmaceutical needs of the patient such as I.V. therapy, injectible medications, diabetic supplies, etc.
Labaratory Work
Gifted Arms Home Healthcare Services staff is able to coordinate laboratory work ordered by the patient’s physician.
Other
Gifted Arms Home Healthcare Services shall provide an Interpreter Service for current patients with impairements in communication (e.g. deaf, hearing or speech impaired) or Limited English Proficient (LEP) persons through the Language Line Services.
