Why Home Healthcare?

In today’s changing health care field, the home becomes the place of choice for recuperation after required medical procedures, which required hospitalization. The cost of hospitalization has become prohibitive for all but a few patients. Cost has caused insurance carriers to reduce the amount of money paid for services to the very physicians on whom we rely for our health care.

It is no wonder then, that patients are released from hospitals in less than half the time, which was previously felt to be critical to the recovery process. Where does this leave the patient? Home care is often the first line of defense in preventing serious consequences by the early detection of potential problems, which often occur between scheduled doctor’s visits. In conclusion, home health care makes perfect sense in today’s medical picture.
